Bay Window – Listed Building (Grade II)
Starting last year, we supported the planning application for the replacement of this gorgeous projecting Bay Window near the centre of Falmouth Town.
Our survey report completed by Peter, our Operations Manager, identified that the window had substantial rot and decay on all parts of the window box and sashes. Therefore, a full replacement was necessary.
The window has been replicated with identical proportions and appearance yet incorporating better quality materials and build standards, to improve its thermal efficiency. Accoya and Tricoya has been utilised to enhance durability, especially since the townhouse is located near the sea air of Falmouth’s coastline.
The use of sustainable materials, properly treated and finished with durable microporous paint, has significantly elevated the property while preserving its historic character.
